Hello Diventures’ followers, we honored to introduce to you the diaries of Professor Hossam Nasef, dive medicine consultant, titled by “Old Diver Diaries” which he posted on his personal account. After contacted him, he honored us by the acceptance to publish his diaries on the pages of our online magazine. He expalined the purpose of these diaries saying: “The most important thing was to show the negatives and errors related to the instructions, specifications, the environment and the rules. The safety that was violated by me and those who were in my generation, it is true that I did not follow my saying (Do not try this at home) as some wanted but I left those who read to understand and judge to preach and learn. Some positions have been remedied by the mercy of God and others ended by disaster or Loss or loss dear. You know, for example, the limits of gas pressure as you know the importance of controlling the gas calculations required but you may not have seen or heard about the actual consequences of these violations.”
He continued: “I have taken care of the absolute secretariat in the transport, as my memory has informed me, and I did not mean to reduce the value of any person or diving center or management, but I intended to mention all the names because I thought this invites the mentioned to the intervention and prove the credibility of the event or correct information or add something I missed. I have noticed in some comments criticism of me personally for recklessness or excessive trust or risk, and I see this unnecessary because I record the facts and history has already happened foe the benefit to the coming generation. The door of criticism or advice is not open, at least to whom in my age :).
We’d like to than Professor Hossam for sharing his valuable diaries with us to get benefit from his experience in diving field.
Also we’d like to thanks him specially as Diventures Magazine Team, for allowing us to post these diaries on our magazine.
The Diaries will be posted weekly starting from Saturday 27 April 2019, and will be posted in both Arabic and English languages.
